00:01:12: Parents may report differently and we cannot be one hundred percent sure.
00:01:17: by assigning probabilities to these outcomes We can make an educated choice balancing risk and reward.
00:01:23: This is exactly what my ABCD system does.
00:01:27: It simplifies complex sagittal treatment planning into four primary pathways A for functional orthodontics, B for compliance independent bite correction.
00:01:38: C for extraction therapy and D for surgery.
00:01:42: Probability helps decide which pathway is most likely to succeed for a specific patient.
00:01:47: The beauty of this approach is subtlety.
00:01:50: You don't need absolute certainty to act.
00:01:53: Even a fifty-one percent likelihood in favor of one option Is enough to proceed confidently.

00:02:00: this prevents paralysis by analysis and keeps decisions practical, efficient & grounded in both evidence and clinical experience.
00:02:09: For example a thirty year old patient with no growth remaining will have low probability of success with functional appliances making options B C or D more suitable.

00:02:33: It can guide teen management operational choices And even personal decisions.
00:02:39: The principle is the same Act with logic & confidence without waiting for perfect certainty.
00:02:45: Once a decision is made implement it fully monitor outcomes and adjust if needed Over time, this builds a reliable reproducible system for decision-making that reduces stress saves time and improves results for both patients and practice.
